The Bay's International Food Tasting Day

We had an awesome lunch with 20 different foods from countries all around the world.

Thank you so much to the families in The Bay who helped our Tasting Day to be so successful.

Where our food came from England- pikelets, Brazil- cheese bread, brigaderios; Japan, sushi, USA, hot dogs; Italy, pizza; France, crepes, cheese, french bread; Sweden, meatballs; South Africa, special sausages; Germany, cinnamon scrolls; Netherlands / Holland, windmill biscuits, wafers;  Canada, maple syrup pancakes; Mexico, corn chips and refried beans;  Hawaii, pineapple, Greece, olives; Australia, lamingtons, grapes and New Zealand, everything else.
                                                         HOW COOL WAS THAT!!!

Mrs Rae is showing us where our different foods come from.

 And it tasted pretty good!!!

Sam wasn 't sure if he would like Swedish meatballs. He tried one, then came back for three more and then he came back for more !!

Wacky Wheels Treat

If you know about Feet First, then you will be proud of The Bay. On percentages in Tay Team, The Bay kids have walked, scootered, skate boarded or rode their bikes to school on Thursdays instead of coming in cars.  Well done The Bay!

BUT, We were surprised by a special Wacky Bikes treat.  We were allowed to ride these amazing bikes to have lots of fun. And Mr Benson had lots of fun, too.

The man in the above photo made all the wacky bikes.

And we had to wear funny nets on our heads before we put on the helmets.

That was really good fun - we wish we had more time! Thanks Feet First, we'll keep walking, biking, scootering or skateboarding to school!  THANKYOU George and Jack for helping.

We were so lucky when Maria gave us some swan plants seeds to plant on "Swan Plant Seed days" and we are so excited to be able to help keep the Monarch Butterflies fed this summer.

Thank you Maria, Mae and Samuel.
